What does sisterhood really mean? A sisterhood is a social, ethical, and emotional pact between women. It’s based on an understanding that together we are more powerful and more impactful than we are as individuals. Sisterhood is more important today than ever, and in this episode I tell you exactly why.
Our true power expands when we come together and support each other, treating each other as sisters rather than opponents. We build an understanding amongst a collective of women based on the core value that we must come together in truth, love, acceptance and support to truly positively impact not only ourselves but the world around us!
But sisterhood isn’t a new concept so where did it come from? And why have so many of us strayed away? Let’s dive into it all in this episode of Power For Good.
Episode Highlights:
Defining sisterhood
The origins of the term sisterhood
The core values of true sisterhood
The transformational power sisterhood offers
Why coming together in sisterhood is so important
My experience hosting my first all women's retreat

Rituals have quickly become a buzzword in today’s world of social media, but what exactly is the intention of a ritual? Why are we actually doing them? In this episode I discuss some of the intentional rituals I have developed in my life to help aid me on my healing journey. However, I also dive deep into how social media has warped our view of these rituals and taken something that is meant to make us feel better and makes us feel worse.
By continuing to compare ourselves to influencers online and set such high unrealistic standards for ourselves to implement daily rituals, we end up feeling worse, not better. In this solocast, I discuss just how we can end up feeling guilty and in turn sometimes even rebel against the original intention and go the complete opposite direction engaging in a bad habit.
I also provide a framework for how to create your own realistic and unique rituals, not based on what you see someone else doing.
Episode Highlights:
What is the purpose of rituals
When they become unhealthy
How I overcome the pressure of social media comparison and self-judgment
Examples of rituals
How to connect with our intuition and regulate our nervous system with rituals
How to create your own rituals

Join me as I dive into alchemical breathwork, the key modality of somatic healing that I now facilitate. Through this active breathwork I lead clients through a journey that takes them past the conscious controlling mind and deep into their subconscious. By moving past the controlling mind we connect more deeply to love, joy and purpose. Through this powerful practice we release the toxic residue that trauma has left in our bodies.
Breathwork is a powerful way to access your body’s innate intelligence to heal itself. It is a practice that is thousands of years old and no matter the style or variation, all types of breathwork offer the chance for personal transformation through improved mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Breathwork has changed my life because it showed me that I am my most powerful medicine and it is now my mission to walk alongside those who are suffering, helping them discover their own bodies' primitive wisdom as they start to relate to themselves and their past in a completely new way.
Episode Highlights:
How I started doing breathwork
Discovering Alchemical breathwork
What is Alchemical Breathwork, the journey and what it feels like
What to expect
The benefits
What happens after
The results
Sharing an experience I had in breathwork

My guest on this episode of the Power for good Podcast is a friend and inspiration, Tamara Mena. The first time we talked, we spoke for over an hour, we laughed, and we cried. From surviving a near to death experience, Tamara chose to dedicate her life to share her message of hope, and above all, motivate people to believe in themselves.
Despite this great tragedy she endured, she never lost sight of her dreams and goals. Today’s podcast is truly from the heart. Tamara is the living embodiment of power for good. Enjoy!

When I first looked up the definition of sobriety, I was shocked, “seriousness, and subdued in tone or color,” along with another long list of things that sound dull and lifeless! This made no sense to me because my sober journey has been anything but subdued in color, in fact, it has been spectacularly colorful. So it got me thinking, why do we live by these definitions? And I decided I wanted to define what sobriety meant to me.
I believe sobriety is simply the first step. It is only the beginning of a long journey that may never really end and you may never want it to because it gets more exciting with every turn. So yes, sobriety is removing something from your life, abstaining from alcohol and drugs but it is also the beginning of a journey, the first step.
It is a moment when you finally get to reconnect to yourself wholly and honestly. You get to look at yourself, your life and face all that has been numbed and repressed for so long, by the drinking or drugs yes but also perhaps by the conditions of this world. It is a coming home to your humanity.
If you need guidance on your sober journey let’s connect at iamchristinarae.com or DM me directly, remember you are not alone and this journey doesn’t have to feel like a death sentence, it is actually the beginning of something beautiful!
Episode Highlights:
My definition of sobriety
My experience getting sober
My experience with Alcoholics Anonymous
Why we don’t need to live by anyone else’s rules
Why sober living is beautiful and all the beautiful colors of the rainbow

Hi, I'm Christina Rae,
I’m a somatic healer and life coach based in Miami. I help people transform their lives by guiding them through their darkest times. My holistic approach to transformation is a combination of years of training and my personal life experiences with neurochemistry and somatic practices.
Through my own journey of healing past trauma and addiction, I have found deep purpose and power in sharing my practice. This practice saved my life, and it continues to shine light on my presence and purpose on this planet on a daily basis.
I believe we are our most ancient and powerful medicine. Our voices, breath and bodies can not only heal us but they hold deep innate wisdom and are always trying to guide us back to our truest selves. To tap into this medicine, I lead clients and groups through Alchemical Breathwork journeys and somatic practices where we release the toxic residue that trauma has left in our bodies.
My mission is to walk alongside my clients, helping them discover their own bodies primitive wisdom as they start to relate to themselves and their past in a completely new way. Together, we drop all the stories and sit with the feelings.
